#13 ~ If you're keeping secrets, you're not living God's plan

In my opinion, keeping secrets is like lying.  Nothing good can come from them, either you or someone you love will be hurt.  One thing is for sure, if you feel the need to hold something back or you're uncomfortable or unsure of an idea or action, then something isn't right.  God's plan for your life is to be on stable, sturdy ground, secrets keep you mired in shifting sand.

It may be painful and forgiveness may be needed, but the sooner you bring light to your secrets God will bless you.  You won't have to tiptoe through life, and your heart will be free to share the genuine love bestowed upon you.

Jesus shed His blood for you, so be free!

"There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs."
Luke 12:2-3

  1. I'm so glad you're doing this series. I facilitate a DivorceCare group and so know many single mums. This series will be so helpful for them! But from reading your posts so far I think the topics you discuss would also help mums who are married :-)

I will share your blog on Face Book with my friends. I know it will benefit a lot of them. Thanks for doing this.
    Blessings,
    Sue

  2. Amen, too this one. You are so right. Much unhappiness and sin can be traced back to being deceitful secrets.
    Powerful post!
    Blessings to you!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I love reading them, and your kind and encouraging words are very appreciated. I would love to reply, but it gets overwhelming, so please forgive me if I don't get back to you. Have a blessed day!!
