I have had my issues with Google Friend Connect (GFC), and now that many of my blogging friends who use WordPress will no longer have this feature available to them I'm a little disheartened. Don't get me wrong, I really like using GFC to see who is publishing, what their publishing, and it takes one click to visit your blog all in one place, but GFC is flawed.
The other problem I've had is many bloggers don't use GFC, and the only way to know when they are publishing is to sign up for email delivery. This creates an even more pain because my inbox gets overloaded with posts, newsletters, and articles from bloggers. If you have ever had an email get lost in all those it can become very aggravating.
There are many other ways to follow all your favorite bloggers, but here may be a solution for everyone, bloglovin'. It is free and you can sign up all your blogs. (This is not an affiliate link, and I receive absolutely nothing for this. Just wanted to share.) See ya over there.
